How to manifest – my results of a beginning-level experiment for manifesting simple stuff. This experiment is based on Pam Grout’s book, E-Squared. This book is one of the funniest, most enjoyable guides for calling upon the Universe and asking it to prove itself.
In this series of articles, I share my experience and results from completing each of the 9 experiments. I invite you to read the book and follow along. Share your lab reports and the miraculous events that mysteriously follow you.
How to Manifest by Focusing Your Attention
Experiment #3: The Abracadabra Principle
The Abracadabra Principle is the third experiment, specifically designed by Pam Grout. During this experiment, the participants (i.e., myself) are required to pick something simple to manifest (magically appear in their life). Some examples include movie tickets, a bouquet of favourite flowers, or $100. It’s your pick.
By following the technique, described in the book, the readers are to give no more than 48 hours to the Universe to deliver. The key ingredient in this experiment is the participant’s attention. That is, for the duration of these 48 hours, the person is required to think, imagine, feel, and give their full attention to the object of their desire.
A HINT:
The reason for picking something simple is that there would be less resistance from the mind. The more unrealistic the item is, the harder it gets for the mind to accept that it’s possible.
In addition, when deciding on the object to be manifested, be as specific as possible. In the lab report, describe the size, shape, colour, even taste and smell (if applicable). Remember that the Universe has a great sense of humor so don’t be skip any important details 😉
My Objective
For the purpose of this experiment, I chose to manifest a bouquet of at least 5 sunflowers. I wanted to be able to place the bouquet in a vase and on my desk.
The Results
Day #1
Right after setting up my Lab Report #3, I did a quick visualization. I imagine a beautiful bouquet of bright yellow sunflowers. I imagine myself admiring it and smiling at it. Moreover, I saw myself working while the bouquet was sitting on the desk remind me of the power of the Universe and the Divine love it shares with me.
The first 24 hours went on in a peaceful and seemingly uneventful way. Except that throughout the entire day, I was noticing beautiful sunflowers. I saw sunflowers on Pinterest and YouTube, tons of them. While I was looking through a magazine for cross-stitch patterns and design ideas, I notice one of Vincent van Gogh’s famous paintings, Sunflowers.
So, I developed the expectation that somehow someone would give me a bouquet of sunflowers. Funny enough, I decided that my husband would buy me some. Of course, this is a bit mistake. And, as you can predict at this point, this did not happen. Nobody gave me any sunflowers or any flowers for that matter.
As it turned out, the reason for this was that I tried to control the process. Instead of letting the Universe handle the “how-to,” I decided to take control. In reality, this indicates my deep belief in lack. Deep down, I still had the belief that the Universe gives to everyone else but me.
Day #2
Being a little discouraged from the lack of any possibility of receiving my sunflowers, I decided to carry on with my to-do list and forget about the experiment. After all, this was just a game, so I shouldn’t take it so seriously.
At some point, I had to go out to run some errands. That’s when I saw a big sign on a house stating Believe. This grabbed my attention immediately! As I looked at the car’s clock, it was showing 11:11. Ha!
As I came home, I noticed a few small white feathers on the mat inside the door. At this point, I knew that the bouquet would manifest one way or another.
Right before the deadline
Well, it was already Day #3, in the morning right before the deadline. No flowers, no bouquets, no nothing… And yet, I knew that the beautiful bouquet of sunflowers would manifest. Without any evidence, I was absolutely sure of it.
And that’s when the miracles happen in the funny Universe-style way.
At the beginning of the summer (about three months ago), I bought from the dollar store a bunch of yellow flowers to decorate my office. I put them all in a small decorative watering can, and up on a shelf. I completely forgot about them because they were sitting there quietly for a few months.
As I was about to completely scratch the experiment, my attention was drawn to the yellow flowers. At the back of the bouquet, I found a bunch of sunflowers. Laugh if you wish, but I manifested my sunflowers in the most unexpected way. Now, these beauties are sitting on my desk, reminding me that I have everything I need even before I ask for it.
How about you? What was the result of your experiment? What did you manifest for 48 hours? How did the Universe surprise you? Can’t wait to read all about it 🙂
