Seeking the Glory of Life – in Money, Mind, and Meaning
Hello and welcome — I’m Desislava, the heart and mind behind desi-slava.com.
My name comes from old Slavic roots and means “Where are you, Glory?”
To me, it’s a reminder – that we’re all searching for our own version of glory: joy, freedom, peace, purpose.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the language of money. Not the “cold numbers” kind, but the way money reflects our beliefs, emotions, and choices.
Through my work in accounting and finance, I’ve learned that most people don’t struggle with money because they’re careless – they struggle because no one ever taught them how to truly understand it.
That’s why I created this space – to make money make sense.
To translate accounting and financial concepts into simple, human language.
To show that taxes aren’t monsters, but tools;
that money isn’t the enemy, but energy;
and that manifestation is not about “wishing and waiting,” but alighting thought, feeling, and action.
